john1When John walked into our office one day with a poignant plea for political asylum from the commercial world of brand development, how could we refuse? We’re nice people here!

Of course, having a first class honours degree in marketing and over six years account management experience on some of the biggest brands on the planet (we’re talking Diageo, Kellogg’s, Kraft Foods, Pernod Ricard, GlaxoSmithKline and Sony here) may have helped his cause a little.

John joins us from The Brand Union, one of Ireland’s most respected names in brand development, where his recent experience as project manager on the rebranding of the National Lottery gave him a taste for the non-profit sector and a desire to get deeper involved.

“I’d reached a point where I needed to do something inspiring and make a difference,” he says. “It boiled down to a choice between becoming the wife of a top Hollywood actor or joining Ireland’s leading fundraising DM agency. George kept turning me down, so here I am!”
